Frank Jones, Provoan, 75, Succumbs to Illness

Frank Jones, 75, Provo, died Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at his home following a two-week illness.

He was born May 1, 1882, in Provo, a son of Stephen and Annettie Johnson Jones. He received his education in the Provo schools, and as a young man worked as a truck gardener and fruit farmer with his father.

One June 7, 1905, he married Lillian Gillard in Provo. They made their home in Grandview. he continued working as a farmer all his life. His hobby was fishing.

Surviving are his wife, two sons and four daughters, Frank W. Jones, Lehi: Ernest L. Jones, Provo, Mrs. Guy (Leola) Dixon, Provo, Mrs. Van (Blanche) Snow, Starr, Idaho; Mrs. L. Glen (Inez) Lewis, Salt Lake City; Mrs. C. H. (Edith) Dawson, Provo: 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Edna Johnson and Florence Stubbs, both of Lakeview, and Mrs. Ella Kelly, Montebello, Calif.
