Sarah (Rathbun) Lowell was the daughter of Harrison and Mary Ann (Bennett) Rathbun. She was the wife of Rev. Julian Virinoldi Lowell. They were married April 18, 1866. He was a minister in the East Genesee Conference/Central New York Conference and Genesee Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
