Sharon Lorene Winnett, 72, passed away on Dec. 22 in Vacaville.
Sharon was born in Sioux Falls, S.D., on April 10, 1937, to Samuel and Bernice Reichelt.
Vacaville had been Sharon's home since 1967.
Sharon was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed traveling, art and spending time with friends, especially the friendships formed from Promise Land Worship Center. Sharon loved attending her home church and attending church functions.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Richard of Dixon, Larry of Petaluma and Michael of Vacaville; daughter, Deborah Van Loo of Vacaville; brother, Steve of Spokane, Wash.; sisters, Sari of Spokane, Wash., and Sheila and her husband, Henry Mahler, of Santa Clara; nine grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold; her sister, Sandra; and her brother, Samuel.
A funeral will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. at Vaca Hills Chapel, 524 Elmira Road.
Prior to services, a viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
