MUSCATINE, Iowa – Adelaida Carranza, 44, of Muscatine, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.

The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Carranza was born Feb. 17, 1965, in Mission, Texas, the daughter of Celedonio and Virginia Bravo Rangel. She married Perfecto Carranza.

She was a member of the St. Mary Church and was a very caring wife and mother.

Survivors include her husband, Perfecto Carranza Sr. of Muscatine; three sons, Perfecto Carranza Jr., Fabian Carranza, and Benito Carranza, all of Muscatine; two daughters, Casandra Carranza and Samantha Carranza, both of Muscatine; five brothers, Gavino Rangel of Muscatine, Valentine Rangel of Wilton, Arnulfo Rangel of South Carolina, Miguel Rangel of Muscatine, and Benito Rangel of Muscatine; and two sisters, Rosanna Medrano of San Juan, Texas, and Belen Marquez of Muscatine.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece.
