BEATRICE MILLER HAMILTON, 94, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center after a long illness. She was born April 4, l911, in Abington, Virginia, the daughter of the late Edward and Sally R. Miller formerly of Roanoke, Virginia. Beatrice was an active member of Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, The United Methodist Women, and Mrs. Locke's Friendship Class. She was a long time active member of GFWC Beverly Hills Woman's Club, and a 30-year member of the Volunteers of Cabell Huntington Hospital. She is survived by her husband John S. Hamilton of Huntington, W.Va.; nephew Raymond R. Miller and his wife Inez Miller of Roanoke, Virginia and a caring friend Edythe M. Miller of Huntington, W.Va. A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Beatrice M. Hamilton, 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004, at Woodmere Memorial Park in the Abbey of Remembrance, with The Rev. John Campbell. Klingel Carpenter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
