Anderson and two sons were born of this union, Hans and Albert. After Hans died, she married Nils Anton Larson, who was married to Susanne Kathrine Schroeder. Susanne died October 7, 1875. Nils and Maren had 3 sons, Gustav Adolph, born 7/27/1878, Nils Anton, born 8/29/1881, and Joseph Alfred, born 1/16/1884. Records suggest that Maren was originally buried in the Rose Dell Township Cemetery and was later re-buried in the Maplewood Cemetery in Luverne.
