OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - December 9, 1994
Gladys "Bea" Madeira, 81, 330 Sheridan Drive, died at 5:25 a.m. Thursday at the Skilled Care Center in Wabash County Hospital.

She was born Dec 30, 1912, in Wabash, to Walter and Goldie (Hays) Hale. She married Manuel Madeira in May of 1951 in Logansport. He died in October of 1970.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lester (JoAnn) Corn, Lagro, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. One daughter, two brothers, two sisters and five grandchildren are deceased.

She was retired from R.B.M. in Logansport after 20 years. She also was a beautician and operated Bea's Beauty Shop in Logansport. She had lived in Wabash 25 years, coming from Logansport.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Manchester Avenue Chapel, Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, with the Rev. Carl Hanser officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel.
