"Hi,
I had a memorial posted for Frank Dashner many years ago. Another contributor had an issue with it & it was somehow removed. My cousin married a Dashner & I started researching the family over 20 years ago. Frank may be the son of John Baptiste Dashner but Elizabeth Lavingne was not his mother & neither was Ester as mentioned in his obit. His mother may have been a woman named Rosalie(?spell? Roselle ) who was married to John Dashner (source: Appleton Crescent Aug 24, 1857). I have no idea what her maiden name was but, have speculated as Courval(Couval?).
Although his obit mentions his sibs, they are in reality half sibs.
Rosele or who ever may also been married before Mr. Dashner to a Mr. Provoncile & had a daughter Sophia who married John White.
1850 census Brown Co., WI
Dashner, John B. 22, Roselle 23, Francis 3, Sophia Provincile 8 & Francis Dashner 60 b. Canada
