John Alfred Black, age 91, died Friday, June 30, 2000.
Survivors include his wife, daughter, two grandchildren, one great-grandson; and sister, Evelyn Byrne of Louisville, Ky. Mr. Black was a Mason, a member of United Church of Christ for 42 years, and was a retired engineer for Reynolds Metals.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd., where a funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday. Interment will follow in Westhampton Memorial Park.
