Canzada Turner, 75, a resident of the Zionsville-Westfield area for the past 29 years, died Friday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born Dec. 12, 1899 to Nathan and Canzada (Gregory) Watkins in Polaski County, Ky. She was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church in Kentucky.
Surviving with her husband John Turner, are five sons, Horace and Arvel Turner, both of Lebanon; Earl Turner Jr., Whitestown and Gene Turner, Zionsville; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Jewell) Seats, Sheridan; Mrs. Ruby Hunt and Mrs.Grady(Thelma) Smith, both of Zionsville and Mrs. Bill(Evelyn) Landers, Strawtown; two sisters, Mrs. John (Nannie) Greer, Kentucky and Mrs. Manda Davis, Oregon; two brothers, James and Leonard Watkins, Somerset, Ky.; 40 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
