Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Addie Towery Griffin; two stepsons, Buddy Reaves of New Edinburg and Jimmy Reaves of Warren; four stepdaughters, Miss Diana Lynn Hamaker and Mrs. Joe McClellan, both of Warren, Mrs. John Cook of Michigan and Mrs. Norman McCoy of Tennessee; his father, Joe Griffin of Warren; four brothers, Preston, John, Walter and Clarence Griffin, all of Monticello, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church at Warren. Burial was at Oakland Cemetery at Warren by Benton Funeral Service of Fordyce.
