Due to some confusion and conflicting documentation, there is still a question as to who the parents of Thomas Abell Jr. were, but we slimmed down some of the confusion. Due to strong circumstantial evidence, the father is most likely Thomas Willard Abell of Dubois County, Indiana. The name of Thomas' mother is still under question due to the fact that several different names are listed on certain documentation, and there is the open mystery of what happened to Sarah Ingle's Sinclair baby.

Alternate birth date of March 30, 1894.

Death certificate gives a birth date of January 24, 1894. If this date is correct, this is not the Sinclair baby.

Thomas was raised by his father's [second?] wife, Sarah E. Ingle who was thought to be his mother but not proven.

Thomas is listed in the Dubois County School Enumeration records with a Feb 1893 and Jan 1894 birth date. I have digital copies of all of these records. His World War I Draft card reflects a birth date of July 24, 1896.

Thomas is buried in an unmarked grave.
Cemetery office confirmed that this burial is unmarked
They also reported, specifically:
06/18/10 Walked Section L, Row 17, Grave 13 to confirm no marker.
