Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday in Reidlawn Cemetery.
A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Jesse J. and Ellen Rice Land and had lived in Reidsville most of his life. A retired employee of American Tobacco Co. with 40 years of service, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Woodrow Land, Douglas Land, Roy Land and a sister Mildred Paschal.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Gaynell Pulliam Land of the home; daughter, Shelia G. Land, Greensboro, N.C.; sons, Roy "Tommy" Land, Reidsville, N.C., Mark C. Land and wife Teresa, Reidsville, N.C., grandchildren, Macy R. Land and Kinsey N. Land, both of Reidsville, N.C.
Also surviving is his twin brother, Cleve Land, Reidsville, N.C., other brothers, Rev. Jesse "Jack" Land, Reidsville, N.C., Benny Land, Reidsville, N.C., sisters: Theresa L. Willis, Reidsville, N.C., Dorothy L. Easter, Reidsville, N.C., and Shelby L. Washburn, Reidsville, N.C.
