March 12- Mrs. Lois Gregory passed away today after after a battle with cancer. Mrs. Gregory was born on August 13, 1911 to the late James William and Alta (Lackey) Loyd. She was the third of six children born during this marriage. She is survived by two children, a sister, Mrs. Veva Emerick, of Carthage. Loren Loyd of Diamond, Erbie and James Loyd of Carthage. A half-sister Velma Merritt of Los Molinas Calif; Lois was preceded in death by a brother, Frank G. Loyd on June 19, 1910, a half brother, Schell E. Gates on August 16, 1911 and another half-brother William Gates on August 28, 1964.
Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
