"Bruno Leist, 40, Francis Creek Resident, Dies At Hospital
Bruno Leist, aged 40 years, a farmer at Francis Creek, passed away last night at the hospital, where he was removed from his home a few days ago. He underwent an operation at the hospital last Thursday. The deceased has always made his home near Francis Creek. He was married to Miss Laura Petri, who with two children, Edward and Paul, two brothers, Jerome and Richard, both of this city, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Leist, residing on Route 7 north of the city, survive.
Mr. Leist was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin at Francis Creek and also served as an officer in the St. Ann’s church there.
Burial will take place from the home at Francis Creek, at nine o’clock Wednesday morning and at ten o’clock from the St. Ann’s church."
