Funeral services were held for Mrs. Pollye A. Guthrie, 74. She passed away in the Kaider Hospital, Los Angeles, Feb. 27. She was born Feb. 16, 1909 in Memphis, Texas.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 4th at the Spicer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Watson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. She was buried in the Fairview Cemetery at Memphis under the Direction of Spicer Funeral Home.
She left Memphis and went to San Angelo to live for a few years, then moved to California and had lived there for the past 30 years.
She is survived by her husband, Buster of Rosemead, California; a brother, A.G. Alexander, Memphis; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Gillham, Clarendon, Mrs. Edna Thelan, Stinnett; Mrs. Velva McAbee, Denver, Colo. and Mrs. Edith Gerlach of Pedal, Miss.
Casket bearers were Gary Alexander, Joe Gerlach, David Gerlach, James Gerlach and Fred Alexander.
