STATESBORO -- Bettie F. Adamczyk, 75, died Oct. 24 at Bulloch Memorial Hospital. The Fulton County native lived in Statesboro for 16 years and was employed part time with University Bookstore. She was a former member of Bulloch Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the auxiliary of the Savannah Officer's Association. She was a member of the Statesboro Newcomers Club, the Plant and Pick Garden Club and Statesboro First United Methodist Church, where she was in the Brunson Simmons Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women. She was the widow of Leo Adamczyk. SURVIVORS: three cousins, Barbara Ann Sutton of Claxton, Jerry Hewell of Elberton and Chandler Everson of Helen; and several nieces and nephews including Jon Dillard, Debbie Rountree and Kelly LeCroy, all of Claxton. FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hodges-Turner-Anderson Funeral Home, burial in Bulloch Memorial Gardens. REMEMBRANCES: First United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 2048, Statesboro, GA 30459.
