Helen Cooper Robertson, 75, of Narrows,Virginia died Wednesday May 6 1998, at Giles Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on April 12, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Pete and Bertha Gautier Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robertson; a grandson Michael Robertson; and a son Gary Robertson.
Survivors include five sons: Everette Robertson and wife Patricia of Peterstown,WV; Larry Robertson and his wife Maxine of Narrows; Eugene Robertson and his wife Robin of Pearisburg; Billy and Tony Robertson both of Narrows; daughters: Kathy Sparks and her friend Jerry Whitlow of Kellysville, WV; and Teresa Snider and her husband Willis of Goldbond; three brothers: Jessie Cooper, Jimmy Cooper and Dan Robertson; three sisters: Virginia Henderson, Bea Lucas and Martha Lucas a special friend Roy Whittaker and grandchildren, Greg Robertson, Monica Sparks, Tabitha Robertson, Samantha Robertson, Larry Robertson Jr, Cassie Whitlow, Misty Whitlow, Craig Snider, Eric Snider, Ashton Robertson & Leairra Robertson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 9 1998 in the chapel of Riffes Funeral Home in Narrows, Va with Rev. Ralph Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in Angel's Rest Cemetary, Narrows, Va.
