Ann "Terri" Crawford was called home to God on Saturday, May 16, 2009. Born in New York, NY on April 7, 1940; Terri graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart. She then persued a career as a Legal Secretary with The Equitable. In 1965, Terri married James Crawford and started her proudest achievement - her family. In 1972, Terri moved with her family to Stony Point and was an active participant in both town and parish organizations. Her accomplishments included work as a Eucharistic Minister, the Directorship of the Immaculate Conception CYO, the Presidency of the Immaculate Conception Women's Club as well as a past membership of the parish council. In 1997, Terri became the Receiver of Taxes for the Town of Stony Point, an office that she faithfully fulfilled until her death. Terri's greatest joy was her family; and she is survived by her beloved husband James, her loving son Sean and his wife Kathleen, her nieces Donna Gaynor and Noreen Gelok and their husbands Jerry and Ken as well as eight much loved grand-nephews and nieces. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Visiting hours will be held at Michael Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church, Stony Point , at 11am. Immediately following will be Interment at Mt. Repose Cemetary.
