A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Ellisboro Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Cayton was born May 27, 1918, in Patrick County, VA, to the late John Akers Griffin and Ida Bell Rogers Griffin. Doris began her working career in 1945 as a cook for Intelligence School, which later became Rockingham Nursing Home and even later Britthaven of Madison. She retired at age 72 with over 40 years of service in the same building. Her service on earth ended where it began. We know that God has bigger plans for a truly virtuous woman.
