MACON - Lucile O'Lillian Barker Wade, 94, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1P.M. Friday, January 22, 2010 in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen N. Johnson officiating. The family will meet friends from 12 Noon to service time at the funeral home and while flowers are accepted, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 4406, Macon, GA 31208. -Mrs. Wade, wife of the late William Cecil Wade, was born in Porterdale, GA the daughter of the late Henry and Nina Barker. She had lived in Macon most of her life and was a member of West Highland Baptist Church. Mrs. Wade was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to cook for the family she adored. She is preceded in death by her two daughters, Bonnie Jones, Delores Hendrickson and her grandson, Kerry D. Jones. -Survivors include her grandsons, Kevin D. Jones of Macon and Ken D. Jones of Kathleen; five great grandchildren, Jennifer Meyers, Kayla, Emily, Peyton and Collier Jones; three great great-grandchildren, Alex, Annabelle Gazafy and Layla Meyers. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
