Abram Henry Culler, 77, 39 North Church Street, Waynesboro, died Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Waynesboro Hospital. He had been in failing health five years and was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago. Born in Warren Township, Franklin County, be was a son of the late William A. and Hadessa (Brewer) Culler, and had been a resident of Waynesboro since 1905. He has been employed at Landis Machine Company, Waynesboro, as a tool maker for 41 years and retired in 1950. He was a member of the First Brethren Church and Men's Bible Class, the Golden Age Club of the church and of the MORA Club. He taught Sunday School class for many years.
His first wife, the former Alma L. Paxton, died in 1921. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lulu Minnich Culler; these children by the first marriage; Mrs. David Snider, of Chambersburg Rt. 5; Mrs. Ralph Cook, and J. Enniss Culler, both of Chambersburg Rt 1; Mrs. Kenneth Dengler, of Gettysburg; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Poe Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Robert D. Crees officiating. Interment in Green Hill Cemetery.
