Belzia Bunch
Belzia Bunch,71,of Haney Hollow Road,Clinton Rt.5,died Feb 10 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge after a lingering illness.He was born Aug.5,1921,in New River to the late Jim and Martha Reynolds Bunch.He served with the Army during World War II in the European Theatre.Mr Bunch was wounded while serving in France and received the Purple Heart.After discharge from the Army,he worked in the auto industry in Michigan and later for AA steel mill in Knoxville.He sold produce in several area of the county for many years.His wife,Mary Frank Foust Bunch,survives him,They were married May 12,1951,in Maryville.The family lived in the Edgemoor community for several years and attended Edgemoor Baptist Church.They moved to the Rt.5 address in 1962.Mr.Bunch was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.In addition to his wife,he is survived by a daughter and her husband,Honey and Robert Bauzon of Knoxville,a son, B.Franklin Bunch of Clinton Rt.5,and a sister,Cleo Wallace of Maryville,six grandson,Alan and Doug Mobleyand Robert Douglas Bauzon II all of Knoxville,James F.,Walter and Clark Bunch,all of Coalfield.Graveside services were Friday at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville.The Volunteer State War Era Veterans Hall of Honor and Honor Gaurd conducted military services.Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
