OB: Cyrus Bishop, well known citizen residing in Whooda, between St. David and Bryant, died in his home yesterday evening at 5:15 o'clock following two weeks illness from a complication of diseases. Mr. Bishop was born July 4, 1849. His wife Mrs. Martha Bishop died eight years ago. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Dora Meade of Duncan Mills, Reuben Bishop of Bryant, Charles E. Bishop of Canton and Mrs. Della Dailey of Lewistown. There also survives two brothers Samul Bishop of Haavana and Thomas Bishp whose present whereabouts are unknown and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Connor of Breeds and Mrs. Lade Swearingen of California. Mr. Bishop was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and held in high esteem by a large circle of friends. Funeral services will be held in the Bryant M.F. church Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. M. S. Swisher of Lewistown officiating and internment will be in the Bryant cemetery.
