OBITUARY
Mrs. Ann Howard died at her home two miles south of Trafalgar at nine o’clock Saturday evening, March 11. On Wednesday she was in good health and spirits, did her house work as usual and visited at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nall, in the afternoon. Sometime during the night she had a stroke of paralysis and lingered in a semi-conscious condition until death.
Mrs. Howard was the daughter of Isaac and Sarah Voris and was born March 1, 1830, on the same farm where she died.
She lived in the same neighborhood all of her life. She was a kind and genial spirit. She was always ready to visit the sick and to assist all who were in any kind of trouble. She will be sadly missed. The funeral took place at Friendship at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon. May she rest in peace.
