Ruby M. Miller April 18, 1928- February 13, 2007 COLUMBUS, GA— Ruby M. Miller, 78, of Columbus, GA died at her residence Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Funeral serves will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 17, 2007 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel with Reverend Gene Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Miller was born April 18, 1928 in Huntsville, AL daughter of the late Ollie Pitcock and Annie Virginia Ricketts Pitcock. She enjoyed collecting fine china, keeping her home and taking care of her family and friends. We will miss her smile, comfort and hospitality, but her memories will live on in our daily lives as we remember her in all the small things we do daily. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Miller, a special friend, Gerald Biskup, a brother, Billy Pitcock, and a sister, Annie Ruth Mason. Survivors include her children, Gail Murrell and her husband, Winford, Gary Miller and his wife, Diane, Wayne Miller and his wife, Jean, Dwight Miller and his wife, Donna all of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Jean Seagroves and her husband, Robert of Nashville, TN and Joann Bridges and her husband, Thomas of New Market, AL; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
