Albert A. White of Springfield, Ill., formerly of Peoria, passed away Jan. 18, 2010, at Saint John's Hospital in Springfield.
He was born on March 16, 1930. He was 79 years old at the time of his death. He married Oma Lee Orton on Nov. 16, 1950. They had four boys, Gary W. (LeAnn) of Peoria, Avery W. (Sally) of Springfield, Norman D. of Florida and Carl L. (Lisa) of Peoria.
Albert was an Army veteran.
Preceding him in death were his wife, his parents, brothers and sisters, as well as one great-granddaughter.
He had worked for Caterpillar for many years before he retired. He also worked for Wal-Mart in Springfield.
There will be a private family service at the Chapel of Peace at the Parkview Cemetery.
