Vern was born in Willapa WA to Duncan and Maybelle Bush. He married Barbara on March 17th, 1944. Together they raised their 5 children; Vondra, Karen, Forrest, Vernine and Jennifer (Birth name Virginia). Vern worked in the Todd Shipyards during WWII. He then worked in the logging industry in Alaska and for Weyerhauser McDonald. After that he became self employed until retirement in 1984. He enjoyed the Mariners, hunting, fishing in Alaska, reading, building anything, and collection everything, along with making candles for all of his family. Vern will be missed by all who knew him.
