CATAUMET — Ann (Bowker) Frame of Cataumet and North Falmouth, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at the Falmouth Hospital. She was 77.She was the beloved wife of Charles D. Frame for 56 years.Ann received a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master's degree from Monmouth University in New Jersey.Working for NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service in Sandy Hook, N.J., and Woods Hole, Ann identified, classified, benthic marine species and became a well-known authority for identifying benthic organisms.Ann was a member of the Cataumet Club and the Navesink Golf Club in Middletown, N.J. She was an accomplished sailor, raced in Cape Cod Knockabouts, Megansett Harbor, and she also enjoyed playing tennis. Ann was an effective mother.Besides her husband, Ann is survived by her children Wade Frame and his wife, Carol, of Marblehead, Pamela Herrick and her husband, Andrew, of Italy and Winthrop Frame of Cataumet; sister Sarah Gibbs of New London, N.H. Ann is also survived by four grandchildren.A period of visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, in Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Hwy, (Route 28 A) West Falmouth.A funeral home service will be at 12:30 p.m. following the visitation.Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann's memory may be made to Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation for VNA of Cape Cod, P.O.
