Alice Smith, 70, widow of Norman Smith, of 106 Conyers St., died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001.

Born in Yonkers, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Leon and Eva Berry Brockett. Retired: Greenville Hospital System. Member: Hilltop Baptist Church.

Survivors: Sons, Ricky Lee Johnson and Robert W. Smith, both of Greenville; a daughter, Brenda Kay Hancy of Travelers Rest; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m. tonight at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Service: 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel. Burial: Graceland Cemetery, West.

Family: 708 Edgemont Ave., Lot 15.
