Chico Enterprise, Friday Evening, May 4, 1945: "William Graham Dies at Home in Magalia. William Perry Graham, a native of Arkansas, died yesterday afternoon at
his home in Magalia.

"He was born Sept 20, 1856, in Fayetteville, Arkansas and came to California when 14 years old, settling in Chico. He lived in this community for about 10 years and then moved to Paradise, where he farmed until his retirement.

"On March 17, 1889, he married Martha Jane Holder in Paradise, where they have lived most of the time. Mrs. Graham preceded her husband in death in 1936.

"Surviving are a brother, Levi Graham of Chico; and the following children: Mrs. Jennie E. McLain of Chico, Mrs. Ada Creason of Magalia, Mrs. Agnes Anderson of San Anselmo, Mrs. Josephine Bille of Paradise, Mrs. Ruth Smith of Chico, Mrs. Dorothy Lucke of Livermore, Mrs. Clara Snider also of Livermore, James L. Graham and Charles L. Graham, both of Paradise; also 23 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

"Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Paradise cemetery with Rev. Paul Aijian officiating. Brusie funeral home is in charge of arrangements."
