Services were held Tuesday, June 19 at Bright-Holland.

Burial followed in Woodland Cemetery.

James was born in Albany, Shackelford Co., Texas to George Washington and Mary Florence Gibson Morton.

He married Beatrice Enox in Clarksville.

He served in the US Army during WW II.

Survivors include; his wife, Beatrice Morton of the home; 3 daughters, a son, a brother, a sister, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
