Mrs. Jennie Frantz, wife of J. H. Frantz, died on Friday morning last at her home on Jared Street, in the Second ward this place, of consumption, aged 23 years and 4 days. Mrs. Frantz had been a sufferer for four years previous to her death, and for a number of days before suffered greatly, but she bore all this with the greatest resignation and passed peacefully away after bidding all her friends good bye, dying in the firm hope of a blessed immortality. The funeral took place on Sunday morning, services being held at the M. E. church, of which the deceased was a member, at 10 o'clock a.m. Rev. F. H. Beck delivered the sermon before a large congregation. The remains were interred in the Rumbarger cemetery.
