"Service for Dorothy A. (Gallagher) Davis, 75, will be at 1 p.m. today at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home - North. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mrs. Davis, who died Wednesday, was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
She had lived in Spokane from 1944 until 1960 and worked for a company involved in the construction of missile sites. She transferred with the company to Altus, Okal. in 1960.
She later moved to Kansas City, Mo., and worked as a cvilian for the Marine Corps from 1970 until 1982, when she retired and returned to Spokane.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Spokane Valley Quilters.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, James Davis; a son, Michael Dennis of Portland; a daughter, Sharon Reed of Dinuba, Calif.; three sisters, Wanda Radford and Shirley McConnell, both of Spokane, and Beverly Scaulis [sic] of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Norman Gallagher of Spokane; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren."
