PAUL MULLINS
JESSIE, W.Va. — Paul Mullins, 76, of Jessie, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 29, 2010, from Logan Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.

Born December 22, 1933, at Landville, he was a son of the late Charlie and Ivy Trent Browning Mullins. Also preceding him in death was his wife and companion of 48 years, Shirley Mullins; four brothers, Arlie Mullins, Jessie Mullins, Raymond Browning and Leander Browning, and four sisters, Gladys Egnor, Delphia Wright, Freda Shenk and Doris Evans.

Paul was a retired long distance truck driver. He was a Christian and a former Freewill Baptist preacher, who had preached at various churches including the Lynco Tabernacle, Greenville Freewill Baptist Church, and the Oceana Worship Center. Paul enjoyed reading his Bible, witnessing for God, going on vacation, and working on cars.

Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Paula (James) Stacy of Christian, with whom he made his home; two sisters, Romaine (Frank) Caldwell of Homer, Mich., and Beulah Lawson of Greenville; four granddaughters, Nicole (Jamie) Osborne of Jessie, Tia (Kenneth) Noone of Christian, Sheena (Stephen) Stacy of Rossmore and Latasha (Jack) Ellison of Accoville; four great-grandchildren, Timothy Hamaker of Logan, Becca and Brody Stacy, both of Rossmore, and Jaxton Ellison of Accoville; two special nieces, Kimberly and Carla; a very special friend, Elbert Carver; several other nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The remains have been cremated.
