Hazel B. Aucoin, 80, of Lake Charles died at 1:44 AM on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in her residence. Mrs. Aucoin was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church since moving to Lake Charles in 1958. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Edward Aucoin of Lake Charles; a daughter and her husband, Pat Brown and Tom of Tyler, TX; two sons and their wives, Charles Dale Aucoin and Ann of Westlake and Barney Aucoin and Teresa of Lafayette; one brother and his wife, Rodney Bellon and Geneva of Basile; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rena and Alexie Bellon; a brother, Milton Bellon; and a sister, Anna Aucoin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 4, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of services.
