His wife was Eleanor Broderick,* no grave found:

{Ellen Broderick was born in 1817 in Ireland. She had seven sons and three daughters with Dinnis Tiffany between 1835 and 1859. She died in 1892 [May 29th per estate petition] in Crystal Lake, Illinois, having lived a long life of 75 years.} There were 10 children:

7 males - John, James, Hugh, Martin, Patrick, [Thomas] and Dennis and 3 females - Martha, Margaret and Mary.

*Eleanor was the second wife of Dinnis. Together they had one daughter (Mary) and 3 sons (Patrick, Thomas, and Dennis). The first six children of Dinnis were from his first wife. Eleanor's probate identified only the three youngest sons of Dinnis as her heirs, although John, his brother Hugh, and their sister Margaret were still alive. In addition, John's military record identified Thomas as his half-brother.
