9:40 a.m. Tuesday at Tipton
County Hospital after an illness
of four months.
Born August 24, 1901 in Tipton
County, Barnes was one of
five children of Charles Andrew
and Margaret Alice (Hartman).
Barnes. He lived in Hobbs until
his marriage September 2,
1940 to Ruth Margaret who survives.
They moved to Tipton
and were parents of two children.
The deceased was a former
finish grinder and retired employee
of Perfect Circle Corporation.
He attended Hobbs school and was a
member of Hobbs Methodist Church and
Moose Lodge.
Surviving with the widow are
two children, Dan Barnes and
James Heffner, five grandchildren
and two brothers, Arthur and Otto.
