WILLIAM "BILL" STENDER, 80, of Denver died Oct. 13 in Evergreen Terrace Care Center. Services were Oct. 16 in Moore-Howard Mortuary. Entombment was in Eastlawn Cemetery. Mr. Stender, a native of Davenport, Iowa, was an electrician. He was a member of El Jebel Temple and the Shrine Motorcycle Patrol. Survivors include his wife, Waneta; two brothers, John of Bendenalway, Wash., and Carl of Corpus Cristi, Texas; and a sister, Evelyn Sanders of Springdale, Ark.
