Mrs. Edward Oskin
Mrs. Catherine Fritzius-Oskin, wife of Edward Oskin, age 72, and a member of a pioneer family of the lower Monongahela valley, died yesterday at 6 o`clock, at the family home, 7412 Washington ave., Swissvale.
Mrs. Oskin was born at Port Perry, a boat-building center about 60 or 75 years ago, a daughter of William Fritzius, a patternmaker and boatbuilder.
She lived in Port Perry until her marriage in 1863, to Edward Oskin, the couple making their home in Braddock. Mrs. Oskin was one of the oldest members of the First Presbyterian church of Braddock.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Louis H. Cort of Ligonier, Pa., and Miss Florence Oskin, at home; George B. and Albert Oskin of Braddock.
She is survived by two brothers, George B. Fritzius of North Braddock, and Albert Fritzius of Cincinnati, O. and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Lewis of Elwood, Pa.
