Margaret and Patrick Michael lived in Huron County (Goderich) Ontario, Canada until 1871 when she and her family migrated to Niles, Berrien Co. Michigan and resided on 14 acres at Platt St., North of Lincoln Ave and N. of the railroad tracks.
The University of Notre Dame archives show that she was buried in the Sacraments at St. Joseph Mission Cemetery signed by Father Cappon. The grave is no longer marked. Being made of wood, many markers rotted or were burned by grass fires.
Patrick Michael passed on January 12, 1875, at the age of forty-nine - Margaret on July 29, 1884, at about fifty-six years of age. Submitted by great-grandson Peter Arthur Rodgers
