Ernest Chaney, 51, who was drowned in the Willametete River on Wednesday after falling off a log raft at Oswego, will be buried in Multnomah Cemetery. Mr Chaney was born in Minnesotta in 1881 and leaves his widow, Laura Chaney, of Oswego and a daughter, Hazel, of Portland. He had lived in Portland some time, coming to Oswego a month ago to accept work from a raft company.
