Rev. Adam Scheidel was a priest of the Diocese of Buffalo New York and Pastor of Holy Name Parish, Buffalo. Ordained on March 15, 1902 by Bishop James Quigley, Father Scheidel was the first Pastor of Annunciation Church in Elma where he built the church and rectory. After that he became pastor at St. Paul Church in Kenmore, and then was named pastor of Holy Name.
