The daughter of Thomas & Alianna "Aly Ann" (Standifer) Hill of Rocky Mount, Franklin Co VA, Aly Ann married William Armstrong on 26 Dec 1792 in Rocky Mount, Franklin Co VA, the probable son of John & Lucinda Armstrong. They had ten children, five sons and five daughters.

"Armstrong, Wm. and Alianna Hill, dau. Thos., Dec. 26, 1792. Sur. Thos. Jones. 52."
After her husband's death in 1846, Aly Ann lived with her son George Washington Armstrong for 5 more years. She is found in George's home on the 1850 Census record in Williamson Co TN.
Aly Ann is my daughters' 4th paternal Gr-Grandmother.
