S. Artillery Rgt. Feb. 2, 1901 transferred to Artillery Corps; 1903-1904 in Cuba; 1907-1909 in Philippine Islands; 1910 at Washington, D. C. 1910-1911 president of field artillery board; 1911-1916 commanded 5th Field Artillery Rgt. 1916 briggen. and retired; 1920 living at Front Royal, Va. March 26, 1928 died in Virginia and buried at West Point; 1935-1946 a battery at Ft. Ruger, Oahu, Hawaii named in his honor.
