Lamar Maynard was the son of Dennis Johnston Maynard, Sr., and Alyce Asa. He married Bettie Jean Johnson on 15 June 1951 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They had three children; Richard Lamar Maynard, Robert Wayne Maynard, and Sandra Jean Maynard.
He was a wonderful dad and did all he could for his family. He served in the U.S. Navy, later decame a draftsman. architect. He loved the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee and took us camping there several times. He adored his grand children greatly as well.
He is missed greatly.
