Arthur Batten was the son of Arthur and Mary (Jones) Batten. He lived all his life in Waterbury, Connecticut. He was united in marriage to Bertha Alma Huff on December 20, 1936 in Brewster, N.Y. Together, they had five children. He worked for Chase Manufacturing, Waterbury, for many years. At the time of his death, he was survived by his parents; his brother Fred Batten; two sisters, Norah Batten Schreier and Florence Batten Palmer; and five children.
