Genevieve Floyd, 85, of Pensacola died Saturday Aug. 20, 1994 in her residence. Ms. Floyd was a native of St. Augustine, but had been a resident of Pensacola for most of her life. She was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church. Survivor include one son, Charles Floyd of Dallas; four daughters, Joan Pearson and Jeannette McGuigan both of Pensacola, Dorothy Raines of Augusta, S.C. and Sandra Summerlin of Augusta, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, with the pastor of Bellview Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Bayview Memorial Park. OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Florida, 2001 N.
