Mary was the daughter of Michael John and Mary Bridget Barrett Fallon. Her dad was a railroad construction worker and they moved around as a result. In 1870 the family were in Lenox, Madison, NY, but shortly thereafter the entire Fallon brood, (except son Michael) picked up and moved to the Cherry Valley, Astabula, Ohio area.
By 1881 or 2 the entire family picked up again and moved to Graceville, MN. They spread out a little, but remained in the same general area.
Mary never married, she was a dress maker by profession. By 1900 her sister Margaret and 2 children had returned from WI without her husband and Mary was living with them in Wheaton.
She died of epilepsy and pulmonary tuberculosis in Wheaton, and was brought to the 'family' cemetery, Graceville Catholic cemetery, for burial, where she is near her parents.
