Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 1 p. m.. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Carlson officiating. Burial will be at Haven Hill Memorial Garden in Olney.
Mrs. Ritter was born on September 18, 1912, in Lawrence County, the daughter of Tildon and Olga (Hesher) Ulmer.
She married Howard L. Ritter on May 15, 1934. Mr. Ritter died on Aug. 1, 1983.
Mrs. Ritter was a retired Registered Nurse with Olney Sanitarium. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Olney. She was also a member of Retired Nurses Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy Ritter, of Olney, and Susan Parish, of Beardstown; a sister, Martha Earhart, of Olney; three grandchildren, Chris Kirkwood, of Olney, Amanda Parish, of Portland, Ore., and Catie Zimmerman, of Decatur; and one great-granddaughter, Lyndsey Kirkwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and five sisters.
Memorials may be made to Red Cross or Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
